Graded difficulty=2 Bike The Vines Tour

Our vineyard cycle tours visit a selection of the regions best wineries and galleries. We aim to take you off the main roads and along some of the quieter country roads, through private vineyards and along the river stop-banks. Biking from winery to winery allows you to truly experience the beauty of the Marlborough wine region and the stunning mountain scenery that surrounds the valley. Your Marlborough wine tour includes one of our enthusiastic guides who informs you about the surrounding area, the history, the wineries and wines throughout the day.

Graded difficulty=2 Explore Marlborough Half Day Walk

We offer a selection of walks in the region. Our walks are designed to showcase Marlborough’s stunning range of scenery and the walks are suitable for most people with a moderate level of fitness. We walk the valley floor through the vineyards or get a full view of the valley and the Richmond ranges from walking to the the top of Mt Vernon. We offer a half day walks up Mt Vernon or around the coastal loop walk at Whites Bay with stunning vistas of the Wairau Valley and Cloudy Bay. Suitable for most levels of fitness.

Queen Charlotte Full Day Guided Walk

Depart Picton at 10.15am on scenic launch cruise of the inner Sound,you are likely to see some playful dolphin while enjoying the impressive scenery. Disembark at Mistletoe Bay on the West side of the Sound at approx 11.45am.Don't forget your lunch!

From Mistletoe Bay enjoy an 11 kilometre walk (takes about 3 hours) which begins with climb up and along the ridgeline of Te Mahia Saddle then winding down to Bottle Bay you can enjoy the magnificent views of Queen Charlotte Sound and Kenepuru Sound. From Bottle Bay head into bush on gentle downhill to Davies Bay to then follow the coastline through to Anakiwa.

Queen Charlotte Full Day Kayaking

Report at 8.45am for kayak instruction and safety briefing. Paddle out from Picton township and down into the Grove Arm. After about one hours paddling stop for a home baked snack on a secluded sandy beach. Continuing further takes you into some of the most attractive native bush which grows right down to the water's edge.

Your guide will share kayaking tips as your confidence grows while recounting fascinating history,wildlife and Maori legends of the area. After lunch enjoyed on the shoreline head back across the Sound to waiting vehicle which will transfer you back to Picton.
