New Zealand Horse Riding Holidays

Have you ever imagined yourself being amongst the early New Zealand explorers? With these horse treks you can drift in your imagination, as you traverse rolling green hills and river valleys, riding past ice cold sapphire lakes and dense bush ringing with the sounds of birds, experiencing the joy of land that has never heard the roar of traffic, the din of people, or been soiled by the haze of pollution.

Beaumont High Country Experience

Visit a family owned and managed sheep station for an unforgettable high country experience. Exclusively for couples or 2 friends, you are personally guided and hosted by the stations owners. Enjoy a unique high country experience on your first day. Join the mustering team and help gather the sheep or cattle in the backcountry, tussock grasslands. On the following day, explore a little more of the sheep station. This horse ride features diverse scenery, from beautiful beech forest to panoramic views. Unwind in the ambience of Beaumont Cottage for your accomodation, tastefully decorated to reflect it's timeless character. Relax in a therapeutic spa and join your hosts for a kiwi barbeque on the second evening.
