Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Auckland
Meet and greet by your driver for a three hour City sights tour enroute to your hotel. The tour includes a visit to Kelly Tarltons Underwater World, Auckland's most visited attraction. See the live penguins then as you enter the Underwater World come face to face with giant stingrays, moray eels, many different fish species and 'the sharks'.
On completion of the tour your driver will deliver you to your hotel for two night's accommodation including daily breakfast. Ride the Sky Tower at your leisure and enjoy the 360 degree views of Auckland then spend the evening in the Casino or exploring the "city of sails".

Day 2: Deluxe Day Tour to Waitomo and Rotorua
Today be picked up from your hotel and travel by deluxe coach visiting the famous Waitomo Glow-worm Caves, see spectacular thermal attractions and Maori culture at Rotorua. This tour includes: Guided tour of Waitomo Glow-worm Caves to see these amazing caves and take short underground boat ride to view the millions of glow worms living on the cave ceiling. Entry to sparking Rainbow Springs Nature Reserve and the highly entertaining Rainbow Farm Show which gives an animated insight into New Zealand's farming history. Also included is guided tour of Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve where you will see many boiling mud pools, hot springs and geysers. Lastly at the N.Z Maori Arts & Crafts Institute, you will see young people learning the traditional methods of flax weaving and woodcarving. Snack and lunch is served aero-plane style on the coach today.

Day 3: Auckland to Queenstown ** Flight is booked and ticketed by your agent **
This morning you will be transferred from your hotel to Auckland Airport in time for your flight to Queenstown.
On arrival at Queenstown Airport a transfer to your hotel for two nights accommodation including daily breakfast.
The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy the Queenstown as you wish.

Day 4: Day trip to Milford Sound and Fiordland National Park
Pickup from your hotel for what has been described as the best one day journey in the world. The day begins travelling along the edge of Lake Wakatipu beneath the impressive Remarkable Mountains on the way through to Te Anau. From here progress through the Upper Hollyford Valley to the 1.2 kilometre Homer Tunnel which was drilled through solid rock. On exiting the tunnel you descend down to Milford Sound. Board the waiting vessel for a one hour forty minute full length cruise of Milford Sound out to the Tasman Sea. An excellent commentary is given during the cruise and apart from the majestic scenery of towering peaks jutting out of the Sound itself, also see sparkling waterfalls, fur seals lazing on the rocks, dolphins playing in the ships wake and numerous sea birds. After your cruise sit back relax and enjoy the views from the coach on the return journey to Queenstown.

Day 5: Queenstown to Christchurch
This morning you will be picked up from your hotel for your journey to Christchurch which takes you up the winding Kawarau Gorge then through the Lindis Pass to emerge on the vast Mackenzie Basin where you will have the Southern Alps as your constant companion until you go through Burkes Pass and out onto the Canterbury Plains which is the largest flat area of land in New Zealand. A brief lunch stop is make at Lake Tekapo famous for its 'Church of the Good Shepherd' which is nestled on the lake edge. On arrival at Christchurch you will be delivered to your city hotel, where you can prepare for your evening visit to Christchurch's two leading attractions and enjoy an international buffet dinner. The evening starts with hotel pick-up and our first stop is at the International Antarctic Centre to experience the awesome and challenging Antarctic environment. The highlight here is entering the 'Snow & Ice' room where you play in the snow and experience sub zero Antarctic weather conditions. Then to the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve for a splendid buffet dinner. After dinner walk through the reserve to see the nocturnal wildlife including the elusive Kiwi, New Zealand's national bird. At the conclusion be returned you to hotel where you stay for two nights inc daily breakfast.

Day 6: A day of Choice - Tranz Alpine or Whale Watch
Option 1: Arthur's Pass Day Tour which includes the award winning Tranz Alpine train, rated as one of the top six scenic train journey's in the world. This tour also includes a farm visit where you can enjoy a demonstration of sheep shearing and sheep mustering. Enjoy afternoon tea is served at the historic family homestead and jet boat ride on the Waimakariri River with exciting 360 degree spins as your fly past river canyons and rushing white water rapids
Day 6 Continues:
Option 2: Day trip to Kaikoura for famous Whale Watch cruise at quaint Kaikoura a small coastal township where the mountains meet the sea. On arrival at Kaikoura board the waiting vessel for your Whale Watch cruise, a unique opportunity to view the Giant Sperm Whales in their natural habitat as well as many other species of marine life including seals and dolphins. Departing Kaikoura mid-afternoon you will arrive back at your hotel at around 6.00pm.

Day 7: Depart Christchurch
You will be picked up from your hotel for your transfer to Christchurch International Airport in time for your flight
